Sometimes a client needs less-than-a truckload of closure/caps. BSD has unique relationships with many suppliers who are willing to sell in smaller quantity.
When filling a still water or beverage, an unlined closure/cap would be used. If the product being filled is Hot-Fill or being filled under pressure, a lined closure/cap may be recommended; some closures/caps can be used for both.
Different bottles have different size and number of threads on the neck. Some bottles require a wider/deeper closure. Most bottles in the soft drink and water industry use a 28mm or a 38mm closure/cap. If the product being bottled is carbonated, it will require a carbonated closure. A carbonated closure/cap can be used even when filling Non-carbonated products, but a Non-carbonated closure/cap cannot be used when filling a carbonated product. Dual-purpose closures are also available.
